Ray, I was at a wreckers and I saw what looked like a good 600x16 with a few checks on the sides, the tread was as good as new. I brought it home , mounted it and put it on the tractor, as soon as I let the jack down the tube was just about through the side where the checks were. I ended up getting two new tires and tubes and put them on the tractor, now I have one spare. There are lots of 16 inch car and truck tires coming into tire shops as take offs..if you just need tires to move the tractor around you could probably pick out a pair for nothing, most tire dealers like to get rid of them.
