We took the rubber off of old implement tires for my F-12. Used a chain saw -not really safe but it worked. I recommend a Sawzall reciprocating saw. Also, don't use the ribbed implement tires like we did, they have no traction at all. Drill holes through the tread and use carriage bolts.

Use old truck tires or rear tractor tires. You can kind of see the treads in this picture, sorry about the JD combine!
