The early C-23 engines have a larger bottom on the sleeve that the later.They WILL NOT interchange.As far as the pistons, you have the distillate (has a depressionin top),the standard,(flat top), the thinwallsleeve and piston set and the high altitude piston, which has a humpon it. The lastis the preferred piston and will fit any head. Pistons and sleeves come as a set.
