Yes, I'd get started on freeing it up right away. The more time you can take the less chance of boogering up something because you rushed the job. If you can block up one of the rear wheels that will help. Fill the cylinders with your favorite "stuff" (I'm using Marvel Mystery Oil on my stuck Allis CA) and with the transmission in the highest gear, rock the rear wheel every time you go by. With time and luck, it will free it up enough that you can turn it over. Makes it much easier to rebuild if it isn't stuck.
