A CIH dealer 35 miles from me has sold over 55 McCormick tractors. ( and I do not mean the W series ), while at the same time only selling 7 or 8 CIHs. Something about availability. One commercial customer bought 19. These units are as good as the CIH MX series and a lot less noisey. The Perkins almost whispers as it pulls ( and pull they do ).Side by side the MXM series, you wonder.....A stout 466 with the MX cab and MXM full powershift.....Anyway the dealer and the customers are happy. Now about big brother CNH, I belive that the grapevine has it that HE is throughly f.....g pissed off, to the extent that CNH was invited to leave if he did not like it. Nice when they have no money in your business. When trade time comes, I for one will seriously look at McCormick.
