It depends on what you want to mow with the Cub. If it is only lawn and will never get very tall, the Cub will work fine. If you still need to do rough mowing like a pasture with heavy grass or weeds, stick with the H. You can never have too much power, and the Cub will always be a weakling in that department. One other note, the Cub's PTO is non standard and turns backward from all "normal" tractors. Implements are not hard to find, but will not fit anything else. The H uses standard implements and can be adapted to a 3-point hitch cheaper than buying all new implements for the Cub. I have a M and a Cub. The Cub is relegated to show and parade duty only, even though I have several implements for it. Using the Cub to mow my 18 or so acres of pasture would take all week vs. a few hours with the M. Short answer is buy the Cub and keep the H! You can't go wrong that way! My 2¢, Phil
