I replaced the thrust bearing on my H. My bushings were ok. I have a little (not much ) clearance between the sector and bolster housing. I think that you are supose to have a slight clearance otherwise the sector would wear into the bolster. My problem was that my upper bolster pivot shaft was aftermarket, when I put the sector gear on it then tightened up the nut, the cotter pin wouldn't go in the nut grooves, so I put a washer between the nut and sector.
