The Stage I Super H should have the "old style" wide front end, with the steering mechanism out front. I own Super H, serial # 9011J. I purchased it from the original owner (my mom's uncle) He bought it new at my grandparent's IH dealership, in 1953. It has the original wide front end. If you were adding one, I to would probably go for the newer style, just because they look better and you can buy new parts for them yet. However, in Saskatchewan where I live, the old style is very common and easy to find.
