ih did not have any different model designation for balers that were pto powered or engine powered.the 45 was only available as pto driven. if you get the redpower magazine about a year ago it had a nice article with pictures about a fellow that has a bunch of electralls.balers weren't ih's strong suit. they had both kinds of knoters early on{mccormick + deering} but they sold the rights to the wrong one. the mccormick knoters were harder to keep in adjustment, even tho they had fewer parts.
