This is just my personal opinion, but I think the block heater will warm it up plenty. I would put the head on, torque it down, plug the tractor in overnight and retorque in the morning. If you really want to be precise, let it cool down during the day and plug it in again the next night and retorque again. I have a 1500 watt heater on my H and it gets the coolant warmer than the engine does normally! The only time the temp gauge goes as high is under a heavy load on a hot day. So I really think the heater should be enough. PS - Thanks for the idea, I think I'll use that one next time!
