My friend Dale is traumatized by swathing a deer fawn with the sickle bar one spring. Hacked its legs off clean. Feeling sick, and not being able to reach a gun, he grabbed a hammer intending to put it out of its misery. By the time he returned, it bled to death. Said it cryed like a human baby. Stopped hunting after that.
