Hi,Paul,it may be a 656 or H 86. It a major repair to overhaul a Hydro-transmission.Check for a shop manual first,then go! First change oil and hydro filter,put CaseIH oil in this transmission.Then check the charge pressure,servo pressure and the high pressure,you may have a 5000 p.s.i for this one,300 p.s.i for the others. The high pressure relief valve, one for forward ,one for reverse ,are internal and there are piloted by the Foot-n-hinch pedal.If this one have internal leaking, the high pressure valve leak to.It's the first thing to be checked. The parts of this transmission are the same as a 74 and 84 serie . Bernard le m�cano QC CANADA
