I don't want to butt in on a good argument, but I'm interested in hearing more from Wardner on the Elwood fwd setup. I haven't found anything about these in the archives. A neighbor has a 560 with an aftermarket fwd conversion, and it's the only one I've ever seen in person. Will this same conversion adapt to many different tractors? I'd like to find out more info on these. I once saw what looked like a W or WD-9 on the cover of an old magazine that appeared to have a fwd front axle under it. Same deal, or was this something that lots of local independant shops cobbled together on their own back then? Thanks in advance!

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
