I don't think I would do that. I don't think diesel fuel has enogh lubrication to it to protect the pump, and it would be hard to get it all flushed out afterward. Just put in new hy-tran, and new filter. We had a 666 at the airport a few years ago that started acting up. Fopund the hyd. filter comnpletely plugged, including the by-pass screen. I changed the hy-tran and filter and it worked just fine after that.
