Just acquired a Super C this last weekend so I know first hand how to trouble shoot this problem. First, remove the spark plug wire from the No.1 cylinder and hold touching engine. Wear heavy leather gloves when doing this test. You should see a spark in the electrod of the spark plug. Repeat with each cylinder. This will tell you if you have a bad wire or other distributor/magneto related problem. Second, you may need to clean out your carberator if you have never done so before. One of the fuel ports or jet may be clogged. Over time sediment and corrosion does build up in these Zenith carbs and if water condensation occurs then you will also have rust in them. Hope this helps, good luck.
