Well, not very handy in tight spaces, they take a sizeable amount larger area than the Farmalls to turn around. Made for the big fields here in the midwest. They don't steer so great, turning a lot will give you good muscle in the arms. Oh yeah, if you use the clutch and brakes a lot your legs will get really strong too! Around 50 horsepower on the PTO with the C335 engine (335 cubic inches). Mine has the overbore kit with step head pistons to bring the cubes up to 350 - don't know how much extra power it is supposed to have, but I would guess 10 extra maybe. Weigh around 6500 pounds with no fluids - chloride in the rears and a couple sets of cast weights can bring them up near 10,000 pounds. As for what they can handle... probably more than a new 50 horsepower tractor can. I know they will pull a 4 bottom plow breaking sod. I also know that Grandpa used his to pull a 12 foot disc and drill and a 12 foot chisel plow. My in-laws use thier W-9 to run their feed grinder all winter to feed calves, neighbor has one with a loader on it, another neighbor uses his for mowing and raking hay (not a good tractor for that job). Any specific questions or if you need parts, feel free to email.

Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos
