The DT361 is a pretty hardy engine. You can do about anything you have money for. I have seen some that have been bored and stroked to where they are running about 460 cu. in. With just the roosemaster pump you can crank it up to about 4500-5000 rpm and get in the neighborhood of 500 horses out of it. Put on a "P" pump and you get even more. It just takes $$$s and imagination. A lot of places limit you to a 3" inlet on the turbo. If you can run a 4" and maybe inject a little water after the turbo you can get even more horses. It always amazes me how the rear-ends and trannys hold up to this abuse. By taking the pto and hydraulics off and running pressed steel wheels you can get it down to a little under 8500 lbs. Some of the pullers will give you a general idea of what they have done but not the specifics. Good luck.
