Thanks for the reply's. I'm sure that the shifter is OK, and that it isn't locked in two gears. I can go through gears 1-5 with the tractor rolling foreward, and they all sound good. I did pull the transmission input shaft to replace the gasket and seal. Maybe I caused the problem when I re-installed it. I will check on it this weekend, and let you know. Thanks again.
