The correct engine oil for your 806LP as recomended by CaseIH would be IH Low ash 30W in warmer weather and IH Low ash 10W in winter.The ash build up in the combustion chamber fouls spark plugs and causes a build up of ash on the valve stems and guides and keeps the valves from closing when the valves get hot.There is an IH service bulletin on this problem with pictures dated in the late 1960's or early 1970's.This oil is also recomended for the gasoline engines.
