Doesn't matter. The detergent is really to keep the sludge from forming (and to help remove old sludge) inside an engine. It should have virtually no effect on your engine.

Just a tid-bit. When I first got my M, there was a ton of build-up of dust inside the intake pipe. I bought a hefty plastic toilet brush to clean all that out. So, don't take anything for granted.
