It sounds like you probably took the splines out of the pressure plate and off the shaft. Look up through the inspection plate on bottom to tell. You might have also sheared the key off the MCV pump.These could account for the steering and torque but the remotes and lift are on a seperate pump. They do share the same hyd. filter which could be partly plugged or the oring around the cap could be sucking air.
