1466 Three Point Question

I have a 1466 International Tractor that I bought a couple of months back. This weekend I tried it with a John Deere 4 bottom rolloever plow, but it was not able to lift the plow high enough in order for it to turn over. I turned the linkage on the right and left side of the arms until they would not longer turn. Can anyone place share any information or tips that I need to do in order for it to raise the implement higher.
