Isn't that the truth? My 'H' has always started either like it was out of time or the battery was low. Hit the starter button two or three times before you could actually get the motor to roll over good. I replaced the battery cables with 1 guage cables but had the same result. The other day I was walking by the tractor when it struck me. Check the starter cable itself. Needless to say, that too has a 1 guage cable on it now and the engine rolls over like it's supposed to.
