It is difficult to give you a ballpark on this one. Seems like a rebuild can really nikel and dime you into alot of money. Every time you turn around you are spending more. A simple brake job turn into more then just the linings, how long will the 50 year old seal last that keep the oil off the brakes. Any time you hire someone to work on your tractor the labor will add up fast. Paint is not that much money, under $200, but are you applying it yourself? The real money is in the prep work to get ready to paint if you hire it out. So take your estimate and multiply by 4 if you are doing the work, not counting the engine machining. If you are paying someone then I cant even geuss.
