Pull off the nosepiece, and on the top of the steering there is a "plug" (a pipe plug). Remove it and you will find a castelated nut. It should have a cotter pin in it. Snug it up and put in a cotter pin. It holds the bearing for the front of the steering shaft. It would have been removed to get the radiator out of the way to install the new fan belt.
