I had an uncle that bought a JD G one time that had similar issues. The guy said that it had been driven to where it sat early in the year. It supposedly had sat there since and not touched. After dragging the tractor around the guys yard for about 30 minutes we just decided to load her up on the truck and take her home. When he got it back to the shop and started tearing in to the old girl he found that it didnt have an oil pump in it. What a deal for being parked and not touched. He had another one there that my dad and I looked at buying. It was in worse shape appearance wise but I dont know what it was like mechanical wise. I do know the radiator on that one was bad and he wanted 2200 dollars for the thing. Just proves some deals arn't what they seem to be. Have a good one.
