That is basically the best way, but as someone who has painted and restored a whole bunch of anything from cars to semis (tractors included), I can tell you that any decent NAPA store does NOT sell Dupont Centari paint, they sell Martin Senour paints only. They are both decent paints, the Dupont is more for the less skilled, the Martin Senour requires more talent to apply and get a better shine than the Dupont.
