The only C model I have seen with the Farmall front emblem instead of the IH was in Guy Fay's? IH Prototype book. I currently have access to (3) '50s, and (1) '51 tractor that all have IH. I don't know of any '48 or '49 models at the moment. The change from drum to disc brakes was already stated as well as the change to larger sleeves and pistons, but along with the water pump came an engine temp gauge, hyd temp gauge, different thermostat housing, taller radiator, taller grill, and different gas tank (taller mounts). The hyd pump is below the distributor drive, the governor kind of hangs off the front. Not that we're into details or anything ;) ;) Stan(VA).
