I have a Farmall C with that Carter carb. For some reason, the float wants to stick, especially if I turn off the gas when shutting down to let all the gas run out of the carb. Usually the next time I try to start after that, gas pours out. The float seems to stick when it goes all the way down. Usually a couple taps on the carb frees it up and the gas stops pouring out.
