Rodger. the post from Gordon (Tx) is right on track. I can't believe that you can do this job without removing the steering bolster. Get yourself a split bearing puller to remove the pully. Without this type of a puller you will more that likely break the pully. You will probably have to heat the pully inorder to get it off. Be careful when removing the govenor cover that you don't also pull off the govenor gear off. If you do make sure that you get it back in the exact position it was before you took it off or you will have your tractor out of time. Also check the thrust bearing on the govenor to see if you need to replace it while you are there. When you reinstall the front pully use a wooden block that will fit just the center of the pully and not ride on the outer edges, only drive the pully on hitting the wood block. Be sure to polish the end of the crank and the inside of the collar of the pully with emery cloth before you try to put it back on. Really not that bad of a job. GOOD LUCK
