If you remove, clean, and paint each part individually, it will take more paint than if you paint the whole tractor fully assembled. I painted each part individually and used about 5½ quarts of topcoat and almost 4 quarts of primer. There are a lot of factors to this, though, as it depends on how many coats you apply and if you sand between topcoats and re-apply a couple more coats for that really smooth finish. Red doesn't cover very well so it takes more paint to make it red over the primer.
