It can be done. I have a Cub Loboy that was originally a standard Cub. The final drive housings for the Loboy are different than the Cub. To make the change you have to acquire the Loboy final drive housings. Also, you would need to change out the front axle. The seat setup is different as well. As others said, it's easier to sell the Loboy and buy a regular Cub. The Loboy is worth more than a regular Cub anyway, so your friend would likely have a little money to pocket in the deal whereas a conversion is going to cost several hundred dollars just for the parts.
