Points on an M with Magneto

Bought a tune-up kit for my "M" with magneto. It included a .20 gap for the points. The IT manual specifies that the battery ignition be gaped to .20 and the Mag. ignition be gaped to .13. What should I do and will it make much difference either way?

Also, the IT manual calls for different plugs for the mag. and the battery ignition. The parts guy sold me the same plugs as were used in the battery ignition tune-up kit. Does it matter?
