Hello, I have a INT 1486. Something happened to the hydralics.. It has no pressure and the pump is not pumping, nothing works but the fwd and revers gearing.... I pulled the hyd. pump off and inspected it, it looked fine.... I reached my hand inside the trans (while I had the pump off) and I could turn the gear that turns the hyd pump. I was told this gear should not move with my hand, well it does! Has any one had this problem? What am I going to have to do to fix it?? I was told I will have to split the tractor to fix it.... Do you have any suggestions or ideas?? What exactly will I be looking at to fix this monster??
Is this a job I should attempt?? I am new to tractors and don't know to much about them but can learn fast and plan to fix it myself with your help! Thanks Ron B
