I'll add that even with the pulley split it could be a little trouble (I have a 384). If so then put the belt around the water pump pulley first, then start it on the right side (looking at the front of the tractor) of the crank pulley. Tap the starter (disconnect the coil so it won't start) to pop it on the pulley. Then tighten the split pulley. Tighten the pulley a bit then crank it over a few times to get the belt up higher on the pulley. You may have to do this a couple times. Then tighten everything up and check it again in a couple weeks as mentioned. Good Luck, Rob
