Yep, that's where I saw the line--but the grime on the engine is covering it up. Still not sure it's actually a crack, because I don't see a rust stain trailing down the side of the block. Again, I'm being optimistic. Another point--the radiator cap was missing and the radiator was full to the top. Also, we don't get too many hard freezes down here, but only one is enough...If the crack runs for a short distance I guess it can be welded or brazed?
