Another option is to cut out the deteriorated and rusted section of the rim and replace it with a serviceable piece from a used rim obtained at a salvage yard. This procedure is fundamental and is not expensive relative to purchasing a new rim. If you don't have the capability to do this, you can have a welding shop complete the repairs as suggested by the previous post. Good luck. Tom
