Denny's carb shop

Hey all, I was wondering if anybody ever put a Denny's distributer and 55,000 volt coil on their M, for farm use. did it run any better? I would like to beef up the old M just a little, and was considering this, and maybe even the intake/header combination. Any feed back would be appreciated. I do have an MSD 6-AL ignition unit left over from the dirt late model...would probably put that on too...ALSO what was the "stock" ignition voltage on a late model M??? Thanks...AC
