I put a 38 radiator on my 36 F-20 when I redone it. It seems to me the 36 had the previous (canvous or whatever type shutter with like push pins that went into the radiator holes). !937 and newer had the actual luever type shutters. I have the luever type which is inconsistant with the year that mine is. I like the shutters just becuase of having the extra item on the tractor. You can do what you want but if it was mine I'd say leave them on.
