Come on Hugh, get propane. My dad's 53 M was converted to propane in 55 and the next time it was overhauled I only put a set of rings and bearings in it in 1998. Being from the South, I don't understand why ya'll keep fighting the low grade gasolines when you could be burning clean propane. Is it just too cold for the tractors to start or what? I am less than a half mile from five tractors made in the early to mid sixtys that came out on propane and still have the original engine.
