1. a 460 pto has a 2 1/2" housing extension on the outside of the tractor. If i remove this housing, will it work in my 560 farmall? the extension shaft is the same length on both tractors.(planetary type) 2. i have a 560 parts tractor with the newer, clutch-type pto. how much difference in pto rpm would there be if i didn't split the case and change the driven gear and its mateing gear off the clutch output shaft? will the clutch type and planetary pto assemblies interchange? 3. can anyone recommend a place where i could obtain a rebuilt or used planetary unit? 4. the manual says to use 10 wt. oil in the pto. is universal hydrolic oil as used in the transmission ok?
