The original hydraulics on an M farmall goes like this here. The pump is in between the clutch and transmission and had a lever sticking out to the right hand side. Then it had a rod coming back off of that lever to the right hand side of the steering post for the control. If hydraulic system has been modified or altered the situation may be different than mentioned above. I am unfamiliar enough to not give you info on saginaw 3 point hitches. I would guess that new brake bands would fix the brakes. Not a serious job for a shade tree mechanic. If you have the style of seat that has the bushings in it, I would think new bushings would fix it up. Many H's and M's had there seats changed from original over the years so I am really not certain what style of seat you have. For springs to break in the original style of seat was pretty common and made for a real ruff ride when that happened. The replacement seats were bad about the bushings going bad and made the seat real wobbelly. Good luck on the restoration.
