Broke Water Pump Belt Adjusting Sheave HELP

I am rewirering a 52 SM for a friend. When I tried to loosen the water pump belt so I could put a new Alt. belt on the big adjusting nut on the water pump sheave broke in to two pieces.
I will need to install a new one. How do I go about this and can I just get the big nut or do I need to get the entire pump assembly?
This is the first "RED" tractor I have worked on so I do not have a manuel, (I do for my tractor).
Where can I get the part(s) I need? I what to fix it proporly even though this tractor will be sold this winter. Any and all help is needed, THANKS BUDD
