Would like info on a IH dump rake?

My Dad just purchase an older model dump rake. We already have a Farmall H and would like to paint this dump rake to display on our farm. It has steel wheels and a wooden tongue on it with also a seat mounted on the tongue part. Can anyone tell me how this may have been painted originally. I have heard that many companys made these dump rakes for IH. I know that it is a IH dump rake because it is stamped on the inside of the wheel area. Can anyone tell me what colors it should be or maybe where I can get a helpful book on IH dump rakes and older hay equipment, Thanks for any help. RWT
