Sounds like you have a really good project tractor. Like Dave said, it is a good idea to use the tractor and find out where the leaks are and get them fixed before paint. These tractors have seals that are fifty something years old and they can't be expected to hold the oil back anymore. Excellent suppliers are at hand for parts and manuals which really helps and this forum is really a valuable resource. When the checkbook is all done in from getting parts I always go out and scrape oil and dirt from the tractor as it costs nothing to do and it is a big step to get the tractor ready for paint.
