Hey guy - I live on the other side of the county from you and have a 300U. I'd suggest looking over the steering if it has a loader. Look at the pivit point on the fron end and the whole steering in general.Loaders on these style of tractors tended to mess up the steering. If your tractor has power steering you may be OK. The PTO may only be an adjustment. The brakes don't cost too much to replace pads and readjust. The big unknown may be the TA and transmission problem you describe. That could run some serious money. It could be only an adjustment problem. Overall price is probably not bad if the transmission/TA problem isn't serious. Good luck with it.
