Are you sure your Cub is a 1950? If so, it would not have had metal emblems. They only had decals. Does your hood have three ribs down each side? I have a 1950 with decals, a 1957 with stainless steel cutout emblems, and a 1963 with rectangular pressed aluminum emblems. each has a different style hood. It would be helpful if you can post a picture of your hood or the tractor's serial number, or both. George Willer

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
