Larry, I have had three tractors with stuck pistons and was able to remove the pistons and re-use the sleeves. This took much time and work so when I got an H with the same problems, I removed the engine. With the engine upside down on blocks over a concrete floor, I bashed the piston and sleeve out with a pipe and a very large hammer. I had to replace the pistons and sleeves but it sure did save time and work.
