Glad to hear you got it out with minimal damage. If you are successful in the end, you can consider yourself an expert on this aspect. You should have videotaped it. The bigest problem I found in all discussion CHAT areas are two fold, first, hardly anybody has worked on BN's specifically (alot on B's, and they are very similar) and therefore each of us BN owner's are on our own, and second, there never seems to be detailed enough fact sheets/manuals/information/etc. for the BN, but I do not know how to correct this other than by trial and error.
