They made the H4 mag in clockwise and
counterclockwise models, I don't know why. When I
bought a rebuilt one a few years ago, I got the
wrong rotation.
The two were identical in every other way and the
wrong one bolted right on, but no spark. I took it
back and it worked on the counter, shocking the
counterman. The only way we figured it out was to
compare it to the core I'd take
